Biotin acts in the cells metabolism and promotes the build up of keratin which is important for the quality of the hoof wall. Research has shown that a daily supplement of biotin can lead to increased growth and improved structure and strength in the hoof horn.

Bad hooves can cause major problems for both horse and rider. A soft, brittle and cracked hoof horn can lead to lameness, difficulty in shoeing and pose problems for horses who are trained or competed barefoot. Powder form.
